PROBLEMS RELATED TO DRUGS AND ALCOHOL HAVE A SOLUTION
Living as a foreigner can increase the possibility of developing alcohol or drug problems. Feeling homesick, stressed at work, having couple/marriage problems, and being apart from your network -for instance- can increase the amount you may be having to drink.
Frecquently not feeling up to it the day after, or consuming more than what you intended can be early warnings that things are not going down the right path.
An interdisciplinar approach may be needed in some cases. I work with English speaking psychiatrists from Universidad de Chile and Universidad Católica when required.
